The Fluvanna County Historical Society is a non-profit corporation whose general mission is to preserve Fluvanna County Heritage.
The Society is organized and operated exclusively for historical, educational and preservationist purposes; to collect and preserve manuscripts and materials pertaining to the history of
the county; to preserve, protect and promote the historic, cultural, natural, architectural and archaeological heritage of Fluvanna County; to continue research, to present historical programs, exhibitions and other
activities of historical interest to the county; and to publish at least one Bulletin each year relating to Fluvanna County history.
As part of our publication committee we publish Fluvanna History
once a year that covers in depth some aspect of Fluvanna history and also publish three Newsletters a year that help keep our members informed of our various activities and projects. These publications are mailed to all our members on a regular basis.
